Sales
Enterprise Sales Executive (ESE)
The buySAFE Enterprise Sales Executive (ESE) is responsible for selling buySAFE’s website trust services to eCommerce merchants with online sales of greater than $500,000 a month. This position requires demonstrated success in enterprise selling (a sale requiring buy-in from multiple decision makers within an organization) to eCommerce merchants.
ESE must be an accomplished enterprise sale professional who can effectively engage with and persuade the senior executives (CEO, COO, CTO, CMO, GM, VPs, etc.) of large online eCommerce websites to adopt buySAFE services. ESE will attain or exceed 100% of assigned individual monthly sales goals for the acquisition of new online merchant accounts. ESE will be responsible for identifying new high volume ecommerce merchants, qualifying leads, selling buySAFE services to new prospects and ultimately acquiring new customers. The ESE will generate referrals from existing customers, build a sales pipeline and forecast monthly and quarterly sales. The ESE will also be responsible for account managing newly acquired large accounts in conjunction with the buySAFE Customer Service team. The ESE must be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as with external partners, have a positive attitude, serve as a team resource and support the buySAFE mission.
Requirements
3+ years of demonstrated success in a direct sales role selling to eCommerce merchants, ideally selling an eCommerce platform technology, an ecommerce payment solution or an integrated shipping solution to online merchants (REQUIRED)
Additional requirements include:- Smart, persuasive, aggressive & driven sales professional that can sell effectively both in person and over the phone
- 3+ years experience selling web services delivered via API, preferred
- 6+ years of direct sales, enterprise level sales experience
- Comfort and demonstrated effectiveness with cold calling new prospects to initiate a sales discussion
- PC & Internet literacy required including Windows, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and contact management software (SalesForce.com etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) desired
- Must be able to provide references and documentation to support previous performance in a similar role
Location - Travel
Sales require a combination of travel for in-person meetings, trade shows, and effective phone-based selling skills. Travel, including overnight travel will be frequently necessary, amounting to as much as 25-50% of total work time. Candidate can be located anywhere in the United States near a major airport.
